The description of ship and the depiction of the sinking are as accurate as the producers could make them (very accurate by Hollywood standards). Inevitably, there are numerous minor errors but overall, it was an impressive job. All of the ship's crew (including Bruce Ismay) are based on real people, as are all of the First Class passengers, except Rose, her mother, Cal, and his manservant. All of the Third Class passengers (including, of course, Jack) are fictional.
The movie "Titanic" (1997) is based on the actual shipwreck of the cruise ship RMS Titanic in April, 1912. The film includes much of the factual information on the disaster, and many of the characters were real people who were on the ship. But the central characters Rose (Bukater), Jack (Dawson) and Cal (Hockley) were not actual people.
The Production Budget for Titanic was $200,000,000.
it was based on a true story the titanic did sink but in truth what happened was the boat sank and every one dies I'm not sure if their were actual survivors its the some with this movie i cant remember who made it but its the same guy who made avatar and titanic its about cave divers the cave collapsed and they must get out its based on truth to but what happened in real life was the cave collapsed and every one died

If you are talking about James Cameron's Titanic(starring Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet), then, yes, the Rescuers is much older. The Rescuers came out in 1977, and James Cameron's Titanic came out in 1997.The original Titanic movie (1953) is older than the Rescuers.
Pretty Much everything that happened in the movie, They just reenacted it. :]
They didn't have a tank they filmed most of the movie in a swimming pool
Well it is the same except it will be in 3D, it will be much louder, but it will be the same. By the way, titanic is an excellent movie, it is about the risks lovers will take to meet each other. it is truly a classical movie.
less then 50 million as total movie budgut was 200 million cheer have nice day
Not much. As in Texas Chainsaw and many other "based on true story" movies, it is very lenient. Check this link for more details. http://www.ehow.com/how_4822501_connecticut-not-based-dark-place.html
