Well, it used to be that you have to be 16 to be on the show, and that you can't be over the age of 28. But as of this year, (2010) The new season (season 10) you can be as young as 15 up to 28. Also, I heard on E New ( the Soup) That the new judge taking over for Simon will be Justin Bieber! YAY! I love Justin Bieber!
