Well it depends on whether or not you are allowed to listen to swear words. There are not many swear words in The Simpson's but some of the ones that they say are sometimes bad. On the DVD boxes it says you have to be fifteen but I am younger than that and I watch them and I love them. My Mum checked them before I watched them.
I would say that The Simpson's can be watched by children that have +12 years of age as it does contain some verbal and non verbal violence and can have a big effect on the children. But apart from that the show is plain comedy and if watched by children younger then 12 years old the children should be reminded not to take everything that happens in the show seriously.
It's rated PG13 so it's inappropriate for anyone under 13.
Anyone can watch the show, as it is aimed at not just children, but it is also ideal family viewing, and adults can also watch it too.
you have to be 8,10,11,12,13,14 and older
You have to be 13 and up (:
