If you mean the bird robins then.... Many American robins die in their first year, and many more die in their second year. Those that surive that long, however, commonly live to 5-6 years, and the longest recorded lifespan of a wild, banded bird was 13 years, 11 months.
wild animals should not be domesticated or even considered as a pet.....a friend of mine has a half dog/half wolf........even though it is half dog, he still has the heart of a wild animal and it will kill if it wants to..........just an example even if you do domesticate a wild animal, it will still have the senses and heart of a wild animal, and those tell them to kill humans Animals are instinctual but also moulded by environmental factors. All dogs, at some point or another, were wild dogs until people took them and domesticated them. I believe originally they were used for protection and hunting purposes. As we line bred them they became more tame and relatively more dumb (they also have more genetic defects as a result). If you take a wild dog from birth, before it is exposed to its wild environment it should be able to be domesticated easier than a dog that has been exposed to its wild environment. dogs roam in packs and learn from their community, just as they learn from their owners. If you assert yourself as leader of the pack that dog will be dedicated and loyal to you. Remember, dogs have relatively small brains that are based on learned behaviour and instinct. Also remember the old cliche "you can't teach an old dog new tricks", it does have some truth to it.
Yes because that gold rush was a real historical event. But buck and all the other characters are made up.
