Hercules has in some form of media been strong enough to move the entire city of New York, hurtle boulders, and support the weight of the sky. In others Hercules is merely slightly above average. He is commonly remarked to have the strength of ten ordinary men, allowing him to lift one ton. Sometimes he was as strong as twenty men, and in many myths had the strength of an Olympian god. If we are going by terms of old Greek and Roman mythology, we can assume he was incredibly strong, perhaps enough to lift over ten tons. In comic books, his strength is near limitless, enough to lift in excess of 100 tons. So in simple terms, Hercules is as strong as the writer wants. Also he is strong enough to beat the hulk and go against superman in one day.
