How strong is Ichigo from Bleach?

Most would cosider him to be veryy strong and increasingly so (as is typical of the hero in shounen manga). One example of his strength would be that he was able to beat Kenpachi Zaraki in "SHIKAI" form. Another example is that he defeated most of the Espada, including Grimmjow and went on to save Orihime.

Ulquiorra holds the rank of the 4th espada in Sosuke Aizen's army meaning he is the 4th strongest of all the espada, However, he also has a 2nd release which even Aizen doesn't know of meaning he could be rivaled to the 2nd or the first espada.

Aizen made Ulquiorra 4th ranked of the Espada, though he only did this as a reason to scare opponents that Ulquiorra could be this strong, and be 4th best. Ulquiorra is naturally and most likely the strongest of the Espada. And besides, the rankings by Aizen have been revealed by the author himself that the ranks are only based on how much Reatsu they have. Considering Ulquiorra has Segunda Etapa, a second release, it is possible it may have the most Reatsu, and considering it to be a secret, Ulquiorra is most likely the strongest. Yammy may be #0, but he doesn't use his power wisely, and that alone could give even Starrk, #1, a chance to beat him.

Yeah. Ulquiorra is the 4th Espada and Grimmjow is 6th Espada. Also Ulquiorra may be the most powerful Espada, stronger than even Stark or Yami because he is the only one that has a second reserruction form or transformation whereas the others only have one.

Rank doesn't seem to officially count anymore. Grimmjow used to be Arrancar 12, but later on, he drastically jumped to ESPADA 6. I believe he could've continued to gain rank if there was time. Recheck Grimmjow's battle with Ulquiorra. Both of them (in normal form) blocked their Cero (Reishi blast) with only one hand. Grimmjow in normal form can fight Ulquiorra in normal form toe-to-toe. Either way, the answer above is correct, Ulquiorra is the strongest of all Espada. Yammy's release form made him Espada 0, and the angrier he gets, the more buff he can be. Grimmjow would've be a rank lower than Yammy. Ulquiorra has a second release form (resurection), that even Lord Aizen does not know, he's even the ONLY person to ever reached a state that high. And if you check, Ulquiorra's #4 dissapears, meaning he cannot be one of the Espada because he's reached a level TOO strong.

In my opinion, all of the espada have their ways, but when it gets down to Ulquiorra's second release and yammy and all that, it is hard to tell. Ulquiorra is max power, while Yammy's anger increases his strength on a completely different level. Ulquiorra only died due to karma, while Yammy dies to 2 of the strongest captains. Kempachi was able to resist his attacks, and Byakuya is too smart to die to Yammy.

Then thinking about the rest of the espada.

Espada #9 sucks kinda, he has power, but he has no stratagy, making him vulnerable to enemies with high speed, attack power or intelligence.

Imagine these combinations for the rest:

Szayel Aporro Granz, He is able to do all kinds of stuff like Muyuri.

Espada #7 I forget this guy's name he can use his sonido to make clones and his release gives him extra speed and MC over 45 objects.

Grimmjow. He has an extreme attack power and speed (for his rank) and is constantly gaining power like Ichigo. He was seen blocking Ulquiorra's cero while both were not released.

Nnoitora. He has an extremely high amount of armor on his hero so that swords can't cut him just like that. He also like Grimmjow has an extremely high attack power, however had a longer reach then him and more ways to attack (more arms on release)

Ulquiorra. He has a high speed, power, and stamina, let alone high regeneration. His lanza du relumpago is also unique and his second release.

Halibel. Probably the best in close combat, would make a great match against Nnoitora and Ulquiorra (first release), probably winning in both fights easily.

Espada #2 . The cheapest of all the espada, able to age everything in his path. The only reason Stark was able to pass for #1 was because (whats her name) in her wolf form cannot age. However, he also has the highest stamina and endurance of all the espada.

Stark: Although his base release is ok, his max power would probably take down even Yammy and Ulquiorra even he had his chance. However, his base power stays at number 1 because he can dual-wield guns that fire cero. If he extended his power, he would kill (whats her name) (which he did).

I hate how Muyuri, Byakuya, and Kempachi got to the espada they got to. Muyuri outsmarts Szayal, Kempachi overpowers Nnoitora, and Byakuya's bankai is able to cut out Espada 7's release completely. Let alone his shikai probably could have.
