No, you do not. Shaquille O'Neal is a fine example, as well as Glen Davis. If you are not skinny (implying you are hefty), you will need to be fairly tall to dunk.
the average length of an arm is around 2 to 3 feet so most likely you should be able to dunk
For a male, he should be dunking a 10 foot tall basketball goal at a maximum height of 6 feet 7 inches tall. And for a female, she should at least be able to dunk a 10 foot tall basketball goal at 8 foot tall.
To believe it or not there are a only really a couple ways to be able to jump higher check the link in my bio to learn a couple of them now
Tudy Reed & demetriade pranks shakayla thomas are both 5 feet 11 inches tall & able to dunk.
With the correct practice possibly, but it also depends how tall you are...
Dunk
There is no minimum height you need to be to slam dunk although, obviously, the taller one is the easier it is to do it. The smallest person I have seen slam dunk is former NBA player Spud Webb who won the NBA slam dunk competition at the 1986 All Star Game. Webb was 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 meters) tall. Click on the 'Spud Webb Dunking' link below to see highlights from the 1986 NBA Slam Dunk contest 6'1 or under---You can't 6'2-6'3---Maybe you can, but if you are 6'2, most likely not (You have to jump really high) 6'4---You can possibly dunk, with a little bit of strength 6'5---You can dunk properly 6'6---You can dunk like Kobe Bryant, but not like Shaq at 7'1 6'7 or higher---You could dunk like nothing!
There is no specific height. You could be really short but jump high while you could be really tall and hardly jump.
