Happiness starts in the home. If the home life of the child is dysfunctional and there are no positive influences/adults in their life and all they see is struggle and strife, just like anything else, we humans are a product of our environment. Human condition is tantamount to actions by the person themselves. Someone that has nothing and is desperate will do anything they can to survive, someone else that has a little bit more will stay afloat and struggle, the ones that earn it, maintain and stay on even keel and the ones that get it given to them, either dont appreciate it and take it for granted or they continue to respect how they got what they have. Sadly enough our world is turning into alot of what I call, me-me's, looking out for number one, only. You do and should take care of yourself but not out of greed or indifference but in my little world that is when a person has a conscious and morals. Someone that doesnt care what happens to the person next to them can sleep at night like a pussycat. Children see this, they hear this, they emulate the media hype, they are very impressionable and buy into alot of negativity when that is all that is around them. They also see that nothing gets done when someone does something wrong, loop holes, politics and greed take over there. Life is what we make of it and its time people stop using excuses and start making changes for the better of us all.
