What happened in torchwood - day three part 4?
I'm not sure what you mean by part four so here's the whole summary: The team hide out in a former Torchwood holding facility, stealing to survive. Gwen meets with Lois, giving her a laptop and special contact lenses to report back to her. Gwen also has Clem, arrested for an affray, released and safe with the team. Ms. Johnson locates and captures Alice and her son after Alice has tried to ring Jack, soon after which children state that 'We' have arrived and a pillar of fire turns into green ooze as the alien leader communes with Frobisher, watched by the Torchwood team,thanks to Lois. Everything is bound up with the events of 1965,as the alien voice tells Frobisher and Jack also comes to realize. The aliens want ten per cent of the world's children to go with them whilst Clem recalls Jack as one who allowed the alien abduction in Scotland, which Jack cannot deny. With the Torchwood team reunited, they take up residence in one of their former haunts. This is the day that the aliens - known as the 456 - have announced as their arrival. Gwen asks Lois Abiba to wear special contact lenses that will allow them to monitor what is happening. Home Office Permanent Secretary John Frobisher is assigned by the wily Prime Minister as the official go-between, thereby allowing him to keep his hands clean during the whole affair. This is not the first time the 456 have visited Earth and Captain Jack has had dealings with them before. The 456 arrive as planned and announce what they have come for: 10% of all the Earth's children.
What has happened in the Torchwood Children of The Earth series so far?
50 years ago Jack Harkness led/sacrificed 12 British children to an alien race known only as the "456". This was done in order to acquire a cure for a disease which saves many lives. One of the 12 children escaped and in the present day is older and thought to be insane. The "456" reappears after no contact for ~50 years and in order to cover up the "exchange" from before the government attempts to assassinate the main players (Captain Jack included). They manage to plant a bomb inside of him which goes off inside of Torchwood Cardiff - luckily Ianto and Gwen escape mostly unharmed.... Jack's body parts get found and locked away in some army establishment. Because of his inability to die, he comes back to life and the government decided to encase him inside of a concrete (if you can't kill 'em, encase 'em in conrete). Luckily Gwen and Ianto manage to rescue him (through two seemingly separate plans which managed to work together. Ianto drops the block of concrete (containing Jack) off a cliff and he's free'd! Also, during this whole ordeal all the children of the Earth would stop at select times to speak specific phrases in unison... The most recent I believe was that "they are coming"... Finally the "456" comes, and the children speak something like, "We're here"...
