You would sell more goods in Lower Egypt as that is where the nile delta is and this would act like a port and goods could be shipped to other places further in the river.
It's not based on the location on a map. It is more geographical. The "lower Canada region" is more upriver on the St Lawrence. The higher up the river, the "lower" you are. Upper Canada or "Ontario" is located at the tip of the river. Settlers arrived through the St Lawrence and believed the entrance to the river was lower, and the end of the river was higher. ============================================================ "Upper Canada" and "Lower Canada" were named because of their relative elevations and their relative locations on the St Lawrence watershed. Upper Canada was upstream, and at a higher elevation; Lower Canada was downstream, and at a lower elevation.
Upper and Lower Canada no longer exist; however, historically Upper Canada was English dominant and Lower Canada French dominant.
On July 1, 1867, the British North America Act severed the pre-Confederation Province of Canada into two provinces: Ontario and Québec. That part of the Province of Canada which formerly was the Province of Upper Canada became the Province of Ontario. That part of the Province of Canada which formerly was the Province of Lower Canada became the Province of Québec. (The boundaries of the Provinces of Ontario and Québec have been extended several times since Confederation.)

The answer is Lower Egypt.
lower Egypt is more important because pharoas lived in lower Egypt
Lower Egypt is to the north and Upper Egypt is to the south because the Nile River flows from south to north ok thx cuz i never got that are you sure
It could be more difficult to live in Upper Egypt that in Lower Egypt because the farther south you got into the country the more desert like it became and the farmer would live farther from civilization, making it harder to ship goods to the main cities where the markets were located. The food would spoil and rot before it could be sold making the farmer's profits negative.
I'm studying this now...it was deserty and lower Egypt it more mountainous..........hope this helps.........
A river always flows from the highest to lowest elevation, and so Lower Egypt is in the North and Upper Egypt is in the South. It seems backwards, but it does make sense because Lower Egypt has lower elevation than Upper Egypt so the delta empties there. It obviously makes more sense that a river flows downhill instead of uphill.
There were few advantages either side had, but it was mostly trading. Upper Egypt had access to the sea, and was able to trade with plenty of other nations. Lower Egypt, however, had acess to Nubia, which the primary source of slaves, ivory and other commodities for Egypt. Also, Upper Egypt had a more secluded location, which meant less enemies to fight from the border. Lower Egypt was situated next to multiple African enemies.
In Ancient Egypt, the land was divided into two parts. They were Lower and Upper Egypt. Their names were backwards- Lower Egypt is more up north, towards the Nile Delta, than Upper Egypt, which is towards where the Nile starts. Each one of the two parts had its own pharaoh. The Upper Pharaoh wore the Hedjet, the crown of Upper Egypt, and the Pharaoh of Lower Egypt wore the Deshret. If a single pharaoh could manage to unite both Upper and Lower Egypt to create one big Egypt, he was The best. He was all-powerful, almost a god. If you could do this, the people would literally worship you. If you could unite the two parts of Egypt, you could fit the Hedjet into the Deshret to make the Sekhemti, also called the Pschent. The two crowns, Hedjet for Upper Egypt, and the Deshret for Lower Egypt, were specifically made for this purpose- they were actually made to fit together like puzzle pieces. If you could wear the Pschent, you were the ultimate Pharaoh. You were almost a god.
LOWER EGPYT was a much more valuable area to control. First of all, the Nile Delta, which formed a significant part of Lower Egypt, provided for a very extensive area for farming. Additionally, since Lower Egypt was on the Mediterranean Sea, it was the principal place of trade with neighboring kingdoms and other Mediterranean civilizations. By contrast, Upper Egypt was relatively constrained to the Nile River and could only really trade with the Nubians and Kushites.
They became rivals because Egypt was benefiting from Nubia and they got better and more goods from lower Nubia.

Ancient Egypt was divided into two regions, known as Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. To the north was Lower Egypt where the Nile stretched out with its several branches to form the Nile Delta. To the south was Upper Egypt, stretching to Syene. The two kingdoms of Upper and Lower Egypt were united c. 3000 BCE, but each maintained its own regalia. Thus, the pharaohs were known as the rulers of the Two Kingdoms (alternatively: Two Lands), and wore the pschent, a double crown, each half representing sovereignty of one of the kingdoms. The terminology "Upper" and "Lower" derives from the flow of the Nile from the highlands of East Africa northwards to the Mediterranean Sea, so Upper Egypt lies to the south of Lower Egypt. Lower Egypt mostly consists of the Nile Delta. There were a number of differences between Upper and Lower Egyptians in the ancient world. They spoke different dialects and had different customs. Many of these differences, and the occasional tensions they created, still exist in modern times. The combination of both upper and lower Egypt was accomplished by warrior-king Menes
