How you get Lugia on Pokemon Platinum?

It is very hard to get Lugia, you need to get the Mystic Ticket from the special event. You can do this by mixing records with a person who has the mystic ticket. Then, show it to the Boat Captain (perhaps Cap. Stern, I'm not sure) and s/he will take you to Navel Island, where Lugia is. Ho-oh is also here, but you need the Aurora Ticket.

This is just what I heard, I'm not sure it works, so sorry if it doesnt.

In Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum you have to get it by trading or by migrating it from your old games. In FireRed/LeafGreen/Emerald you have to use the event or a GameShark to get a Mistic Ticket and go to the Navel Rock. You can catch Lugia and Ho-Oh there.

I heard from a friend that you can catch a lugia on Pokemon sapphire and ruby, and most likely emerald. An di will tell you how to get i t, when you get all the eight gym leader's badge don't beat the elite four because then you cant get it no more so after you get the eight badge you should talk to the guy who you saved the wingull from team aqua, or magma and that guy will give you the map to catch lugia and hooh. you need an action replay to get Lugia otherwise you can't get Lugia on Pokemon Platinum.
