About 5 or so years ago I watched a movie that was airing on Sci-Fi.
The story's plot went along the lines of-- a few people (in space?) find a cargo shipment somewhere and when they go to "investigate" it inside a facility, something small and cacoon shaped jumps out and "slithers" down the hall. Further into the movie I believe they get the military involved? By this time the thing is rather huge and significant. As it kills more people, they finally destroy the creature. Then, a girl examines the creature and she finds an egg inside. Taking a break and coming back, she discovers the egg to be missing (or does she?... the camera shows it's missing...) and of course this thing is on the loose. Near the end of the film I think the offspring has some ordeal with a black guy, and it eventually kills him I think.
It's been a long time since I viewed this movie, and I'd really like to know the name, I really liked it.
