Hell to the f**king NO - you are not legally liable for that baby!
just get a DNA test to prove it. But, dont wait because, you only have a limited amount of time to do so.
You are only legally liable to support your babies.
absolutely not
i live in cailf.my child is 18 and she just had ababy do i still have to pay child support do i pay child support for my child who has a baby
I am not an attorney or legal specialist. But If you are receiving child support at 20 are you receiving back child support owed from years that the parent skipped while you were a child? If you are receiving back child support then I would think not. If you are still receiving child support on your self at 20 and are pregnant , I would think that it would stop. Being pregnant is an adult action. I am not sure what state you live in but I would check the Divorce decree of your parents .AnswerIf you (or actually, I guess your parent) still receive child support at 20, then I imagine it's because you're still in school. If that's the case, and you remain in school and do not become 'emancipated' (for example through marriage), then I don't think a pregnancy would have any effect on the child support order. Check with a local attorney.
If you are the father of the child yes. Why do you ask? do you expect someone else to pay for raising your child? Your child - your responsibility - be the best father you can.
Nothing can be done until the child is born and paternity is established. If the male is not willing to acknowledge he is the father a paternity test will be necessary, before any litigation pertaining to child support, custody, visitation rights or the relinquishment of parental rights is possible. However, the issue of the biological mother moving to another state is not necessarily relevant; all states honor and enforce child support and/or visitation orders issued in another state.
You will have to file a modification to your existing order, your support payment will be postponed or drastically reduced due to your not working. And once your back to working you can have it modified again for change in circumstances for the new child.
If you are in the US, the fact that you are now married/pregnant has no effect on child support for another child.
No, your child will not be emancipated because she is pregnant and her parents still have to support her until she is.
No it does not.
No, she is not pregnant at the moment but would like another child.
Child support is awarded after the child is born.
Depends on the state.
yes
absolutely not
no
yup
No, that obligations is to the father of that unborn child. Also, once high school is completed your financial obligation for support ends.
