As of now only a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street has been made, and will be in theatres int he spring. There hasn't been any talk of remaking the entire series.
There has been a reboot of Friday the 13th that came out in 2009. And there has been no talk either of a Freddy vs Jason remake, considering the Freddy vs Jason movie only came out in 2003.

Yes, briefly. Jason's mask is showing lying in the dirt. Then suddenly Freddy Krueger's gloved hand shoots up through the dirt, grabs the mask, and pulls it down below. While you hear malevolent cackling; presumed to be that of Freddy's.
Jason Voorhees was played by Ken Kirzinger, while Freddy Krueger was played by Robert Englund.
No, he is only in one movie with a reference to Elm Street in Freddy Vs. Jason and the Friday the 13th movies. where he fights Freddy Krueger in both elm street and camp crystal lake.

Crystal lake is where the 12 Friday the 13th films were based where Jason voorhes is the killer not Freddy krueger. The nightmare on elm street films are based on freddy krueger but there was one film called freddy vs Jason where both were involved..
Jason Voorhees was played by Ken Kirzinger, while Freddy Krueger was played by Robert Englund.
If they ever make a second it probably won't be for quite a while, A Nightmare on Elm Street remake is out next year and Friday the 13th 2009 will more than likely have a sequel, if/when the franchises start to go down hill again then they will probably do another cross over.

It's actually considered to be part of both the Friday the 13th and a Nightmare on Elm Street series. This was a well executed crossover that belongs to both camps.
I always found A Nightmare on Elm Street scarier. Think about it like this. If you don't want to get killed by Jason then don't be where he is. Freddy though is in your dreams. You have to sleep and you can't easily wake yourself up. So anytime, anywhere you fall asleep Freddy will be there. That is much scarier to me.
Friday the 13th Part XI is better know as Freddy vs. Jason. It was released August 13, 2003. This film was also know as A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 8.
