Sancerre (just a village but known well over France) or Chateauneuf-du-Pape, or Beaune in Burgundy (Bourgogne in French), an historical wine town. There are many museums and world famous "Appellations d'origine contrôlée (AOC)" to visit.
As a matter of fact most wines are named after the place they are grown in. (and similarly the system of AOC Apellation d'Origine Contrôlée means that you can't make wine with grapejuice coming from far away)
