There is actually a plot inconsistently in relation to Chandler first telling Monica he loves her.
Technically he first tells her in The One with all the Thanksgivings - Monica puts a turkey on her head and dances to cheer up Chandler and he inadvertently blurts out "You're so great, I love you." He then tries to take this back but Monica heard.
Later on in Season 5 in The One Where Everybody Finds OutChandler again tells Monica he loves her for the first time - Phoebe and Rachel know about Chandler and Monica and Phoebe hits on Chandler to get him to admit it, meanwhile Chandler is hitting on Phoebe to put her off the scent. During this climax of this episode Chandler says that he can't go through with kissing Phoebe and when asked why he he states "because I'm in love with Monica". Monica is touched because this is (supposedly) the first time he has admitted it. She reciprocates in this episode for the first time.
It was at Ross' wedding with Emily and Monica was upset because someone thought she was Ross' mother. She went to Chandler and Joey's room for meaningless sex with Joey but he wasn't there, so she settled for Chandler.
There were many times Chandler and Monica made out because they started a relationship and got married in Friends. They first started their relationship during Ross and Emily's wedding in London during the end of season 4, The One with Ross's Wedding Part 1 and 2. Also they make out when Chandler leaves to his new job in Tulsa in season 9, prompting Rachel to say cut it out because there is a baby.
Captain Hook had no friends, only some shipmates.
They briefly hook up in the hallway in Season 1, Episode 1, The One With Monica's Thunder. On Monica and Chandler's engagement night, Rachel and Ross realize that they never had a "bonus night" after they broke up. Monica catches them kissing. They try to downplay it, but everyone else makes a big deal out of it. Out of anger, Rachel tries to trick Monica by pretending to really hook up with Ross. But eventually the girls say sorry and Rachel and Ross do not get back together. However during season 8, it is revealed that Rachel slept with Ross sometime before the wedding at the end of season 7. This resulted in her pregnancy.
