More or less a seasoning or scenery character. by the way there was an Air Force officer (RAF) in Worl;d war II whose real name was General Trenchard, but was nicknamed by the media, such as the magazine, Aeroplane ( Boom!) no disrespect, but an odd nickname) Digger, would be more apt for Trenchard, right- see the sound of Trench, howevrer he was an airman not a Ground Trooper.
