If winter an summer are the same temperature then the place has no seasons - no winter, no summer, no spring, no fall. These places are called the "Tropics".
Winters on the East and West coasts are very different from winters in the north and winters in the prairie provinces. On the coasts winters are generally more mild. There is less snow on the West coast, and more rain. The temperatures are also much more mild. Most places have long winters with short days. Prairie provinces and northern territories have colder temperatures and more snow.
