Their names are Harry and Marv. Joe Pesci plays Harry, and Daniel Stern plays Marv. In the first movie, they call themselves, "The Wet Bandits," because they clog up the sinks of every house they rob. In the second movie, Marv insists that they call themselves, "The Sticky Bandits." This is because he made himself a glove out of fly paper or some sticky stuff. He would stick his hand into donation tins, and when he pulled his hand out there would be lots of coins stuck to it.

In the sequel, Marv decided that they would call themselves "the Sticky Bandits."The reason for this nickname was that Marv developed a new "trick" for stealing from collection baskets/tins. Marv would wear a glove made out of flypaper or something, and as he walked by one of those Santas who dress up and collect money for the poor, he would discreetly slip his sticky hand into the collection basket, and then make off with the coins that got stuck to his hand.
