Well, he never has feelings for Tohru in the Fruits Basket anime, I mean he does, but not in that way. In episode 26, it gets a bit dramatic, and he hugs her a stuff, but he never loves her like that. No one ever ends up together in the anime. But in the manga they do. The first few volumes drawings aren't that good, but later on in the manga, its said that Natsuki Takaya hurt her hand, and after she got a whole lot better and all the characters started looking really good :) The anime only goes up to manga volume 6, but some stuff throughout volume 8 was put into the anime.
