In Romeo and Juliet, there are two ways darness influence the scene: 1) When Juliet was in the garden during her soliloquy, (Saying her thoughts out loud) she didn't see that Romeo was there becaue of the dark night. 2) Whe Romeo showed himself, and spoke with Juliet in the garden, he was not caught by the gaurds because they couldn't clearly see him.
