Its not Kurnool caves,but its Belum caves. caves got that name as it near by Belum village. And these are in Kurnool district. Distance from Kurnool to Belum caves : 110 kms nearly. Route map : Kurnool --> Betamcharla-->Banaganapalle--> Avuku --> Belum. It is very old and natural underground caves, stretched for many kms. presently visitors can view only upto 3 or 4 kms only. Few year back AP tourism has electrified this caves and looks like eight wonder. prior to that we have to use torch light or lamps to enter into these caves. We have only road way to this place, no railway.
