i have a slight feeling the anime will not continue because soul eater is just not popular enough to continue, the author (atsushie) probably knows not many people watch it so it would pretty much be a waste of time for him if it's not even gonna be watched but it should continue because there is some people like me who just love the anime soul eater so much!!!!!!
that's why if you look up this question and see this answer and you agree with me that soul eater should be more popular so it could most likely continue, then tell people about it, get more people to like it so it can at least get as popular as bleach or even reach naruto (which by the way sucks --- no affense to naruto fans lol)
