Christopher Meloni could not negotiate a new contract for season 13 of SVU. The script handled the situation by having his character quit the force. Elliott didn't appear, his resignation was discussed by the other characters so we would know why he wasn't there. That's a good sign because they didn't kill him off. It's possible that, if he can negotiate a contract for guest appearances we may see him on the show again.

∙ 12y agoNo, not too likely; but never say never. Eliot (Christopher Meloni) was a very popular character on the series and if Wolf Productions can negotiate a contract with Mr. Meloni, we could see him again, even if for a guest appearance. When is 'sweeps week'?
