EDIT: Well, it depends. If you're a little kid who's very fearful, then I'd say probably. But if you're not, then it's not too scary. It's the same story as the original Christmas Carol...besides, my friend saw it and she didn't say anything about it being scary.

I would say yes it is scary. Who would open with a horrifying picture of dead Jacob Marley? And the Ghost of Christmas Past when he disintegrated; I did not get that at all + that part is crazy (crazy scary and not to mention horrifying!
This movie is scary! Do not bring your children to it AT ALL! My father says the old one makes much more sense and it a lot better than this new crap!
