well pretty much there's this girl name coraline and she moves to this new house and has a crappy life and her parents never pay any attention to her! then she finds this little door leading to a better version of her life with her parents only the care about her more but the have button eyes. then after she keeps returning her parents try to get her to stay there and kill her real parents. and her other mom is like some creepy spider and coraline has to get back to her real life, and in the end she does!
