That particular future was prevented, with the destruction of the Eclipse gate, the future could not unfold in the same way as Future Lucy's did. Her version had the world be ravaged by ten thousand dragons.
Even with the bit with Ultear's sacrifice, it showed the future can be changed if future knowledge is brought to the past.
There is of course a possibility that some of the future events could occur but the circumstances would have to be different and therefore you can't really predict future events just yet.
