I, as well as many people I know, have used it on several occasions.

I thought it was ok, but now I'm not so sure.

After traveling for 7 months I came home and opened up my ink only to get a huge whiff of ammonia. but their website www.speedballart.com has msds sheets that say it's non-toxic (when used for it's designed purpose)

i don't know. i'd still use it, but use it at your own discretion,

don't use it straight from the bottle so as not to contaminate it with your blood, put it in a small sterile container.

also, keep in mind that the professional tattoo ink that they use in parlors aren't exactly safe either.

they have all sorts of harmful chemicals in them.

so yah. be safe.
