While "House, M.D." is a scripted television drama and features fictionalized medical cases, many of the medical conditions, treatments, and diagnostic procedures depicted in the show are based on real-life medical knowledge and practices. The show's creators consulted medical professionals to ensure a degree of accuracy in portraying complex medical scenarios. However, the character dynamics, plotlines, and some dramatic elements are exaggerated for entertainment purposes. Overall, while the foundation is rooted in reality, the show's primary aim is to engage and entertain viewers rather than serve as a documentary.

You thicko !!! The scenario of the illness maybe real-ish but everything you see is done in a studio. If you see the props used in CSI etc they look real and feel real but they ain`t. Apart from that, Hugh Lawrie who plays "House" is queasy when real body bits are around :>:>
I am obbsessed with Hugh laurie.
