Yes, and no. Avatar: The Last Airbender is "over" in the series on the last episode (Part 4 when Sozans comet returns) there is a "The End" at the end of the last episode. Also, this may be no because so many questions were still left after the series ended.

In the Box Office the series has not ended, but only has begun. This movie is going to be a remake by Shaylan, which is called "The Last Airbender" and is expected to be released July of 2010 which is this summer. The movie is also going to be a triology.
