Yes and no. Boba Fett is an unaltered clone that was given to Jango Fett as part of his payment for providing the genetic template. Jango wanted him unaltered to fullfill what he felt was a debt to Jaster Mareel who not only saved his life and show Jango the ways of the True mandolarians eventually dying before Jangos eyes. Being the foundling for Jango He was raised as a Mandolorian warrior.However he became a bounty hunter for an extremely long time to survive and thus was for quite some time not accepted as a True Mandolorian however years upon years later (In the Expanded Universe Now called Legends Era) Boba being the accepted son of Jango Fett was in turn chosen by the Mandolorians as Mandalore from which he performed his duties off planter due to a plague releast by the Moffs targeting his specific genetic modifiers which counted his daughter Ailyn Velwith whom he was starting to finally become part of a family unit so to speak.
