As of my last update, Captain Aizen from the anime and manga series "Bleach" is not dead. He is imprisoned at the end of the series after being defeated but remains alive. His fate is left somewhat ambiguous in the epilogue, but he is shown to be alive and in a state of contemplation. Thus, while he is no longer a threat, he has not been killed.

No he doesn't. He takes on Aizen by himself and then is attacked by Wonderweiss. His Zanpak-to, Extinguir, was designed to absorb Head Captain Yamamoto's Zanpak-to, Ryujin Jakka. Yamamoto takes out Wonderweiss using his bare hands. Aizen waited for this fight to be over, so he could kill Yamamoto after being worn out from his fight with Wonderweiss. Yamamoto is cut down by Aizen, but I doubt that he's dead. He's probably just unconscious. Not even Aizen with the help of Wonderweiss' Extinguir can kill Head Captain Yamamoto.

Well, I believe Ichimaru Gin is dead. At episode 308, when ichigo has arrived, he said, ur at a level, where i can 'die' and leave this to you,. And he also said, im glad i said sorry "goodbye rangiku" which really meant, he knew he would die at the end, sacrificing himself... (New Edit by random stranger) In the manga, Gin is traveling with Aizen in soul society, where they transported Karakura town (in order for Aizen to not get his hands on the souls there, but Aizen ends up getting past the Captains). Gin pretends to kill Rangiku because of Aizen's orders. Gin inserts a piece of his Zanpakutou's sword into Aizen, and destroys Aizen from the inside out, but the Hougyoku saves Aizen and he remains unharmed. Aizen kills Gin, and Rangiku finds his body, and is heartbroken.

It's quite powerful. I'd say it's probably the most powerful out of all the other captain's Bankais. Not as powerful as Head Captain Yamamoto's or Aizen's though.

The other soul reaper captain's power is really nothing compared to Ichigo's power. He was the one who could only take Aizen down. He did not kill Aizen, but he did weaken his powers so that he could be sealed off. And also, Ichigo was the one who defeated Kenpachi, known as the "strongest" besides the head captain, Yamamoto. And also, if you think about it, Yamamoto (head captain) could not defeat Aizen or even get him weakened enough for him to get sealed off. Taking all things into consideration, I believe that Aizen would win due to his superior experience and power. actually byakuya would win if aizen didn't have complete hypnotis as a shikai, otherwise aizen wins Kyoraku Shunsui, the 8th captain can beat Byakuya as he had beaten Starrk, the 1st espada shunsui never actually "defeated stark" he was actually defeated by stark, he wouldn't last a chance against stark seeing as he is only second best to yamamoto head general, who has the same powerlevel as aizen and he didn't even defeat aizen
