Stephanie Meyer says that here are only a very few vampire-human hybrids in existence and, as far as we are told, Bella is the only mother to have survived carrying a half human half vampire child due to 'emergency vampiresation' as Jacob calls it.

Of course this is all just in the Twilight world that Stephanie has created.
