it depends if you have any friends or not
Cape Town is like most cities. There are certain areas to avoid, especially after dark. If you stick to a few rules like not showing expensive jewellry or cameras, etc. then the chances of becoming a vicitim are reduced. One should not go on hikes up Table Mountain, etc. alone, always in groups.
Yes. Cape Town is in Africa, and despite the European feel of the town, there are a number of lion prides that reside in the mountains around the city. Competition among the prides for the best hunting spots is fierce, and is centered around Long street, the main nightclubbing district of the town, where the intoxicated night revellers make easy pray. Although many people remain off the streets at night as a result of the feline threat, it is mostly safe as long as the group of people you are in outnumbers the number of lions in the attacking pride, as lions are quite intelligent and will content the number of humans around before commencing an attack. In general you should be safe in groups of 100 or more, but remember, if you find yourself in the face of a lion, do not run, but instead stand your ground and make as much noise as possible. Should you follow this advice, the worst that could happen is a severe mauling, which sounds bad, but is better than certain death. Good luck and stay sharp when walking in Cape Town at night.
Yes, it is safe to drive from Miami to Charlotte at night.
Yes.
The flashing light is warning you that something is going wrong inside your engine, or steering system, or brakes, or anything else. It can not be safe to drive with any signal light flashing (except, obviously, left and right). You have to bring in your car for a check up as soon as possible.
That would depend on whether the car is ok to make the journey, but if it is, it should be safe.
Assuming you are driving within the speed limit, without stops it should take roughly 7-8 hours.

Depends where you stay - Cape Town, especially the waterfront, is safe. Jo'burg, on the other hand, can be dangerous. Everything's cheap.
No.Well, that being said, it depends on which part of Africa you are visiting. A place like Cape Town is fine, but the Wilderness of Africa is very dangerous.

Subsidized apartments are very safe where we live. This obviously changes based on the city that you live in. In our town, the subsidized apartments have frequent crime and drug abuse. This is very common in many cities.
I'm a Native New Yorker. My vote is it is not any more or less safe than normal.
The opposite of drive safe is careless driving.
