Is it true that Firefly will return to television?

There is no plan to return Firefly to television at this time (September 2014). That doesn't mean it will never happen, but it would take a lot, since the actors and the director are all in the middle of other projects.

Unfortunately no, at least not at this time. The rumor was started because of a fan-made teaser trailer.

Artist Stephen Byrne did a great job, and I think a lot of people *want* it to be true, but as with most other Firefly rumors, there is no truth behind it. Although, hey... if someone wants to actually make it happen, I am all for it. :)

There will most likely not be anymore Firefly shows, as most of the principal cast and production crew have moved on to other projects. There was a Firefly movie called Serenity in 2005.

Unfortunately not. Firefly only lasted a season, but it did have a feature film (Serenity) thanks to fan interest.

No. Firefly lasted only one season (14 episodes). It later spawned a film, Serenity, due to its growing cult status.
