Probably quite similar, though Seattle is a little closer to the pole than is NZ. Both have warm water currents on their west, which results in much rainfall in the mountains. Seattle of course is on a continental landmass, which gives mroe extremes of climate, summer and winter.
The New Zealand rainforests are mainly broadleaf evergreen, whereas Washington's are traditional conifers.
Their biota are very different, reflecting that one is attached to a large continent, and the other is an island group that has been separated from other lands for long times, and lacks mammals other than a couple of bats.
