Petrol is generally not zero-rated or exempt from value-added tax (VAT) in most jurisdictions. Instead, it typically falls under standard VAT rates due to its classification as a fuel. However, specific regulations may vary by country, and some regions might offer exemptions or reduced rates for certain categories of fuel under specific circumstances. Always check local tax laws for precise information.

Council rates are typically considered to be exempt from VAT rather than zero-rated. This means that while they do not charge VAT, councils cannot reclaim any VAT incurred in providing their services. The specific treatment can vary by jurisdiction, so it's essential to check local regulations for confirmation.
To determine if items are zero-rated, you should consult the relevant tax regulations or guidelines, such as those provided by a government tax authority. Typically, zero-rated items are specified categories of goods and services that are exempt from sales tax, such as certain food, books, or exports. Additionally, invoices or receipts for zero-rated items should explicitly indicate the zero-rating status. Always verify with updated official resources to ensure compliance.
In general, water rates are usually exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT) in most jurisdictions as they are considered essential services. However, it's important to check the specific regulations in your area as this can vary depending on the location and laws governing taxation.

Hello 2 work out how much 2 stroke you mix with petrol remember this rule. Whatever the amount of petrol is in litres double it and add a zero. You are working out for 12 litres of petrol so the mix would be 12x2 is 24 then add a zero gives you 240. so 12 litres of petrol needs 240 ML of oil. any amount of petrol in litres can be worked out the same way. IE 75 litres petrol would be 1500 ml of oil. Hope this helps.. Rob
