Popeye married Olive and they adopted Lil' Swea'pea. Popeye gave up his seafaring life and settled down to a job in shipbuilding where his ability to bend steel with his bare hands made him very useful. When a project was behind schedule he would pull out his can of spinach and hit a big pile of steel I-beams with his fists and it would go up in the air and come down as a ship!
Olive gained weight as she got older. Popeye didn't mind. She made him give up smoking, but he still carried his pipe for whistling and for sucking spinach through when his arms were busy.
Bluto spent time in jail after he killed a guy in a bar fight. After that he found a good job as a right wing radio talk show host. But after a while his ratings dropped and he was fired. Critics said he was too 'cerebral' for the medium, too 'intellectual'.wimpy sadly, died of a massive myocardial infarction. This was only a few months before Lipitor came to market.
