The truth is everyone (no matter what colour) is expected to attend school. Unforunately schooling is either of poor quality or not available at all to rural communities. Another sad fact is many of the poorer native communities don't take education seriously yet. We've still got a long way to go in this country but we're trying and a lot of people have been making a lot of sacrifices of their own resources to aid this effort (as our goverment is... Well... I can't really say). But we are fighting for a better tomorrow and we are not the uncivilised people that the international community think we are. Sure we have crime and violence, but go to some 'hoods' in the UK or USA and you'll find its the same. Sorry to ramble on but I'm sick of seeing these prejudicial and ignorant statements about my homeland.
