Nein. Titanic was not French but her tender in Cherbourg, the Nomadic, was crewed by French seamen and after the war she became a restaurant boat in Paris (until being fully restored and returned to Belfast as a museum).

There were reportedly 31 people of French nationality aboard the titanic when it sank. 18 of those survived leaving 13 dead. 92% of the first class french survived whilst only 50% of the second class survived. 0% of the third class survived. This nationality of passengers (and workers) is a classic example that shows the clear discrimination in class that was present in this time.
