Because it is a lot more fun and easier to watch movies without having to read subtitles all the time, plus not everyone can read.

Is Twilight as good as people say?
Yes, Twilight is a good series. It has a lot of action, basically Bella is a danger magnet and for some reason crazed vampires always come after her. There are a lot of fights in the series they have a lot of trouble. New Moon is really the most dramatic of these books. Twilight is a pretty fun series to get into, so don't think you're too cool for it.
