no the book has not become a movie yet. i think it would be a bigger deal if it were.
There are many changes between the book and the movie, some are minor (like hair color), here are a few: In the book, Homer gets the autograph picture of Von Braun for Christmas. In the movie, he gets the picture for his birthday along with a chocolate bar. In the book, Homer is 14. In the movie, he is 17. Some of the characters in the book do not appear in the movie. For example, Sherman Siers from the book does not appear in the film. Jimmie O'Dell Caroll and Sherman Siers from the book story are combined into one character: Sherman O'Dell. In the book, Homer's father's name is Homer Hickam Sr. In the film, it is John Hickam. It is also not mentioned in the film that Homer's name is Homer Hickam Jr. In the book, Homer's nickname is Sonny. He is not called this in the movie. Daisy Mae, the cat, does not appear in the movie. In the movie, Homer drops out of school to work in the mine. In reality, Homer never dropped out of school. In the book Jim has blond hair; in the movie, he has brown hair
Umm, well the characters dont really look how they are descibed in the book, the book is alot better . The movie just anoyed me because the left out some of the minor details... Like there is a bus scene in the movie that I didn't recall in the book. ____________________________________________________________ i read it in the fall in school well my 5th grade teacher read it cuz he has an awesome voice for freak.;. anyways the book is way better the movie swears.. and more but i also think the characters
In the book "Holes" by Louis Sachar, Stanley Yelnats, the protagonist, is described as having red hair. This physical characteristic is mentioned several times throughout the novel, highlighting Stanley's unique appearance. The red hair serves as a distinguishing feature for Stanley and adds to his characterization in the story.
in the book he is suppost to have long curly black hair with green eyes and very handson; but in the movie he has short brown hair, whiskers, brown eyes and not cute at all
the book was way more detailed. The movie was good, but it missed so many important details that were said in the book. For example, in the book, it mentioned Sandy(Sodapop's girlfreind), and Mickey Mouse(Sodapop's horse), which were very important details in the book, and the movie missed it completely!! THe movie didnt metion sandy and mickey mouse AT ALL, which was a really important detail that thay missed. There were some unecessary scenes as well, and some of the characters did not match the descriptions in the book. For exmaple, Dally was described as having blonde hair, elfish face, blue eyes, and pointy ears. in the movie, he came out having brown hair, black eyes, and no pointy ears! they missed dally's character completely! and in the book soda was described as super star handsome and blonde, but in the movie, He was NOT superstar handsome and WAS NOT blonde! The book was so much better than the movie!!! If the movie did not miss so much detail that was needed, it would have been a really good film!!
then that picture is correct in the book though she is said to have brown hair
*The preacher lets Opal keep the dog in the book, and makes it temporary in the movie. * there is two added characters in the movie. (a policeman, a trailer park man.) *Opal and her dad never discussed about her mom in the movie.
It the book, according to Juli, he has blue eyes and black hair. But in the movie he has blonde hair and dark brown eyes.
in the movie it is red but i am not quite sure what color it is in the book.

Yeah, read the book first, then go see the movie.A lot of things changes by the way.Grover is black,Annabeth has brown hair and not blonde hair, and Annabeth kisses Percy.
Tilikum accidently killed his trainer Dawn. She was laying on the shelf giving him a rubdown when he grabbed her hair. The hair was stuck in his teeth so he shook to get it out and she drowned.
Curley's wife is a character that can be found in the book , "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck. The movie about this book was in black and white, but was darker in color. The book described her hair as looking as sausages. It may have been brown.
no i don't believe so. they have showed some pics of the movie and she still has dark hair. i read that they are trying to give her the Hermione look. ********************************************************************** i think they should because in the book they say she has blonde hair and they even have a picture of annabeth chase and she has blonde hair i just hate when they do that in movies

Like Vegitarian Vampire's she has golden eye's (when full) and they graduly darken as she get's more hungary. she is also a blonde keeping with the fact she's mean't to be beautiful.
No, he used hair remover in the first book, then insisted on shaving his hair in the second book.
