there's no scene in the movie that includes violence (it's not shown), BUT, but afterlife thing is always somehow scary. Although afterlife was really beautiful in this movie)
It's just a drama and is very touchy, can make you cry, like Titanic..but I wouldn't say it's scary. Well maybe a lil bit for very very sensitive people.
I would say it is a little bit scary when her sister is in the murderers house looking fr evidence that he killed her but other than that i would say that it is fine.
Its sad at the beginning (the kidnapping and rape). And the other sadness in it, is the effect the death has on the family. Especially the dad.
