Not really it depends on your taste in genre of gritty and hard messaged movies. Watchmen is a perfect example of this. If your teen, or friend, whatever, is mature on real life problems Watchmen decepticates. Then I say he/she might enjoy it. I myself am 13 and rather enjoyed Watchmen alot to buy the DVD and Blu-Ray, but then again I actually undertand it.
Most of society today rarely understands a film like Watchmen. But back to the question, I say I have a lukewarm (half-half) feeling on this. If he/she shows intrest in it, then go for it.
