THIS IS THE FIRST MOVIE IN A VERY LONG TIME THAT REALLY DID SCARE ME. AND I AM NOT EASILY SCARED. NOT WITH MOVIES ANYWAY. THE MOVIE TAKES PLACE IN A BURNT OUT AND MASSIVE DEPARTMENT STORE LIKE THAT HAD IN NEW YORK AND San Francisco BACK IN THE 50'S. I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN SF IN THE FIFTIES AND OFTEN WENT TO MACY'S IN DOWNTOWN SF SO I COULD REALLY RELATE! ALSO, ALOT OF THE MOVIE IS IN THE DARK AND THE GUY ONLY HAS A FLASHLIGHT. BY THE MIDDLE OF THE MOVIE I WAS THINKING THAT I WOULD NEVER LOOK INTO A MIRROR AGAIN WITHOUT THINKING OF THIS MOVIE. IT ALSO DEALS WITH INSANE ASYLUMS AND THE MENTALLY DERRANGED WHICH ALWAYS GETS ME GOING! THERE IS ALOT OF ACTION, ENOUGH BLOOD FOR ME AND I WAS ON MY SEAT TILL THE END. DON'T WANT TO GIVE THAT AWAY! I THINK IT WILL MAKE YOU THINK ABOUT IT, EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE LEFT THE MOVIE THEATER. I PLAN ON PURCHASING IT BECAUSE I THINK IT IS ONE OF THOSE MOVIES THAT YOU HAVE TO WATCH A FEW TIMES TO SEE EVERYTHING. I ONLY WENT TO SEE IT BECAUSE IT HAS KEIFER SUTHERLAND IN IT, AND I USUALLY LIKE EVERYTHING HE DOES. AND BOY, AM I GLAD I DID!
