"Out to Sea" (1997).
"Grumpy Old Men" (1993).
"Grumpier Old Men" (1995).
All three films star Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau. But "Out to Sea" is not a sequel to the others.

Psycho 2
"Son of the Mask" sequel, "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" sequel, "Bewitched" remake are movies that were considered the worst, enough to be in the 2005 Razzie awards.

no because they messed up the ages in the first movies

no because of bad financial reception
Hmm... I'd have to say it depends on what movie it is. Some movies can't stand to have a sequel and when one is made, it turns out to be a total failure. Other movies can have sequels, though, and the sequel can be pretty good.
Yeah. They'll probably make all the books in movies depending on how successful the movies are.
Book wise it is followed by The Vampire Lestat and the Queen of the Damned. Movie wise there is no sequel. The Queen of the Damned could've and should've been a sequel but it can't be because the movies's timelines do not match. Their timelines have Lestat in two places at the same time. The Queen of the Damned (2002) movie is not a sequel to the Interview with the Vampire (1994) movie.

There isn't actually a movie sequel to the original, but the story more or less continues in the TV show. Same characters, and the plot picks up a few weeks after the end of the movie.

It is not about anything since the sequel to The Simpsons Movie does not exist and (as of 08|2017) will not exist for some time.
