this is the person who asked the question WHAT!!!!
and also what program was it on like was it on
ytv,family what?
The original show ended in 1980, but is still featured in syndication...(although not widely enough for this fan, lol); YTV used to show it back in the early 90's, I believe, but they've stuck mostly to newer programming since then...same with Family Channel, unfortunately.
Your best bet is smaller, local programming...I'm sure that I've seen it at least once or twice on the satellite in the past few years, wouldn't remember which station tho.
Because one of the cast members was a pig.

The Muppets were first created in 1955 by Jim Henson. Initially, they appeared in a television show called "Sam and Friends," which featured various puppet characters. The Muppets gained widespread popularity with their subsequent appearances on "The Ed Sullivan Show" and the creation of "The Muppet Show" in the 1970s.
"The Muppet Show" originally aired on Wednesday nights. The show premiered on September 5, 1976, and ran until March 1981, featuring a mix of comedy sketches, musical performances, and guest stars. It became a beloved television classic, known for its unique blend of humor and puppetry.
Of course it's a real TV show, I'm at a loss at why you'd think it wasn't real. If by chance you're asking if it's a documentary series, of course not considering the Muppet characters that exist on the show.
