Yes , it is very true . She was a countess who was fearfull to age and killed her virgin servants and used their blood to stay young . She kept all their deaths in a book . She had a very hard life and had a lot of mental issues due to the violence she saw as a child . She liked to hurt others and crave power , she did not like peasents and wanted them to be wiped of the face of the earth . Her mother was a killer ( Anna Bathory ) who taught Elizabeth how to kill , her husband also enjoyed murder of peasents and sometimes watched . She was arrested at 43 and died at 48 , though some sourses say she was 54 . She never went to her trial . She was kept on house arrest and had 4 guards watch her outside her bedroom door ( where she was locked up ) , they removed her real bedroom door and placed a door with bars on it instead . Her son paul had to witness this event and her daughters and sons had to witness the slaves murders . She is buried in her birth place .
