Chinese animation is often called Donghua and some call it guoman. The Chinese anime industry is growing in recent years with Tencent being the largest company spearheading it's growth. Now, there are various Chinese anime that could be watch online even outside of China such as The King's Avatar, Mo Dao Zu Shi, NeZha, White Snake, Bai Yao Pu, Fox Spirit Matchmaker, and The Legend of Qin to name a few.

And to actually answer your question- It is the basic style...Almost every anime has a pink haired girl and most of the characters have really spikey hair that defys gravity...They prefer to base it off of their imagination I guess and not on reality...however this is not tru to all animes. A good portion of animes have normal hair colors and normal hair styles...
