However there are laws against fraud, and misrepresentation of ones status for purposes of fraud is a crime. anybody can use a marine insignia on an address envelope- the various Veteran"s orgs distribute these gratis- no problem, Impersonating a member or Officer of the Marines- well that:ll land you in the Brig, big time! so it goes.
